The Job:
Courier
Love to bike? Want to get paid for it? This is the perfect job for you. We are currently looking for independent contractors to deliver orders for us late-night. Contractors are paid per delivery and by customer tips. Average pay is about $40-50 a shift. We also love people who drive cars, Vespas and scooters!
Sales Associate
DCSnacks is always looking to expand our selection, so we need the help of a good Sales Associate. Responsibilities include:
1. Finding restaurants and other businesses in the DC Metropolitan area and signing them up to our delivery solution program.
2. Corporate Sales. People burning the midnight oil in the office need food too! Our corporate accounts program will enable them to put their dinner directly on the company expense account and make it easy for them to order what they want, when they want it.
3. Account management. Every customer needs a little TLC. Part of your job is to be in touch with them to make sure they are happy. This includes sending a holiday card, calling up to say hello, or troubleshooting if the need arises.
Compensation is incentive based and we assure you, it is competitive!
Marketing Intern
We are in the midst of a big expansion and need the help of a good intern! This job is perfect for college students looking for a part-time, hands on job that will be a great resume booster. Responsibilities include:
Market research: Who are we trying to reach? Who would be the best person to talk to? What sort of clubs, events and groups are popular on DC’s campuses? Research this information and more to put together a detailed marketing plan.
Event planning and execution: Develop cost effective ways of getting the word about DCSnacks out then go out and make it happen! One perk is that you get to run a cotton candy machine…mmm sugar…
E-media: keep our Twitter followers happy and our DCSnacks Facebook page current with exciting specials and discounts.
Compensation: $10/h for on-the-ground events. Opportunity to turn this into a full time, salaried position.
